چکیده

Learning functional neuroanatomy requires forming mental representations of 3D structure, but such from 2D textbook diagrams can be challenging. We address this challenge in the UW Virtual Brain Project by developing narrated diagrams, which are interactive, guided tours through models perceptual systems. Lessons experienced virtual realty (VR) or on a personal computer monitor (PC). predicted participants would learn lessons presented both VR and PC devices (comparing pre-test/post-test scores), that more effective for achieving content-based learning outcomes (i.e test performance) experience-based (i.e., reported enjoyment ease use). All received about visual system auditory system, one PC(order counterbalanced). assessed content using drawing/labeling task paper (2D drawing) Experiment 1 Looking Glass autostereoscopic display (3D 2. In experiments, we found were teaching neuroanatomy, with no difference between devices. However, was enjoyable easier to use. also evaluated our Classroom Implementation during an undergraduate course perception. Students helped them make progress outcomes, especially pathways. They suggested could improved byadding examples providing time explore VR.

the effect of functional/notional approach on the proficiency level of efl learners and its evaluation through functional test

in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...

the aesthetic dimension of howard barkers art: a frankfurtian approach to scenes from an execution and no end of blame

An Experiential Education Approach to Teaching Software Project Management

A minimal-lecture approach to student education in software project management has been developed and implemented at the University of North Dakota. In CSCI 297Experiential Learning, there are no lectures (aside from presenting logistical information and assignments). Instead, students participate in weekly in-class discussions about project management topics. During these discussions they are ...

Neuroanatomy: Tool for functional localization, key to brain organization

The article by Devlin and Poldrack reminds researchers in the functional neuroimaging domain of the importance of anatomical expertise for functional activation localization. In line with this article, we highlight that macroscopic neuroanatomy should not be considered solely as a landmark system but also as one of the foundations of the functional organization of the brain.
